As former front woman for Grammynominated Sixpence None the Richer, Leigh Nash has charmed audiences far and wide with her ethereal voice. Now, Leigh steps out on her own for her most personal project yet, her first solo album Blue On Blue.
The release of Blue On Blue marks a significant time in Nash's life. Starting her career as a 15 year old girl with Sixpence None the Richer, she has matured into a woman whose wispy vocals and personal lyrics convey thirteen years of life experiences. With a new addition to her family to draw inspiration from, the singer/songwriter prepares to release an album that not only shares her voice with her audience, but also her heart.
Leigh explains how this album grew out of the break-up of Sixpence None The Richer who had been together for 13 years: I'm still excited about what I'm doing, and I think it's just a matter of me burying that in the past and moving on. Maybe that's the healthy thing to do. I know that God is with me, and I'm in his will and I know he's leading me.
